ANCONA The violence would have been increasingly frequent, erupting not only at home, but also outside, when the two brothers passed each other on the street. The last episode, in mid-May: the youngest, 25 years old, was allegedly beaten to death by his brother who was fifteen years older. Slaps and kicks so strong that the boy was forced to go to the emergency room and never return to the family home.
The complaint
The 25-year-old’s request for help practically started from the Torrette hospital, which was then collected by the carabinieri at the Collemarino station. Within a few weeks, with the investigative compendium collected, the investigating judge Sonia Piermartini issued the precautionary measure against her older brother of a ban on approaching the 25-year-old. The accusation: abuse in the family. In recent days, the investigation for the suspect was held in court, defended by the lawyer Giacomo Gnemmi.
The reported violence dates back to when the two lived together in an apartment in the first Doric suburbs. Their mother was also with them. According to what the investigators gathered, the older one would not have missed an opportunity to target the younger one. The blows would have arisen from a climate of tension latent over time and for trivial reasons. According to what emerged, the 40-year-old also tried to hit his family member with a belt or a stick on several occasions. Then there would have been threats: “Sooner or later I’ll kill you.”
In mid-May, the episode that prompted the victim to file a complaint occurred. On the street he would have been beaten with kicks and punches. The boy managed to escape, then going to the emergency room in Torrette. The prognosis: seven days. From there, the request for help to the police. The 25-year-old, out of fear of his brother, would not return home. In the meantime, the judge’s order has arrived: the suspect must no longer approach his brother.
