According to initial reconstructions of the case, it seems that the theft took place inside the Fano Center car park. It would therefore be a shopping center located in via Einaudi in Bellocchi. The incident appears to have occurred around 8.30 pm on Tuesday 11 June 2024.
Based on what was found, it seems that a woman, particularly fond of animals, stopped in her car to feed some kittens. Inside a bowl she would have placed special food for such kittens. Apparently, the woman used to perform this gesture.
Furthermore, in order not to cause any inconvenience to customers, it seems that he feeds the little kittens in a place a little further away. During her noble gesture, which would have been very quick indeed, the woman appears to have left the car unlocked. Inside, resting on the passenger side, she would have placed her bag.
Apparently, 3 people in a Nissan Juke stole the bag. It would seem that one of them immediately got out of the car, stole the bag, got back into the Nissan and then, with the others, ran away. It appears that there were money, telephone, documents and credit cards in the bag.
Once she returned to the car, it seems that the woman immediately noticed the theft. At that point she would have called 112. At the same moment she would have found herself passing by a Carabinieri patrol from the Fano station. The latter, thanks to the information given by the victim, were able to connect all the elements and identify the thieves within a couple of hours of the theft.
When stopped, the three admitted their guilt. They were three men aged between 34 and 49. It seems an electronic device for reading ATM codes was found in their car. And again, a cell phone always stolen. Yesterday the arrest of the thieves was confirmed, complete with a ban on staying in the province.
