Siena, success for School Meets Design. At Bandini students design kitchens and furniture

The students of the Sallustio Bandini Institute of Siena designed designer kitchens and furniture thanks to the laboratory experience of the Interior design course, environmental sustainability/Cat, which took the form of the School Meets Design organized by Habitat arredamenti by Roncucci in collaboration with Veneta Cucine and coordinated by the architect Claudia Roncucci. The project represented a concrete example of a training experience aimed at approaching the working environment. At the end of the project, an exhibition will be set up inside the institute with the projects and drawings developed by the students.

With the laboratory, the students had the opportunity to carry out a project and find the most innovative solutions both from an architectural and design point of view, and with regards to the sustainability of materials and technology. The students of the Bandini Institute of Siena, followed by three architects, trained on three aspects of designer furniture design: ‘How to design a kitchen’, ‘The materials with which a kitchen is built’ and finally ‘How’ a kitchen is made’.
