Applause to d’Avalos for the performance of the orchestra and choir of the Liceo Mattioli

VAST. “The interest in culture and in children, the love for the environment and for peace. Thus was born the communion of intent with the Madrecultura association, in the name of the desire to interact with the territory”. TO say it is Maria Grazia Angelinihead teacher of Mattioli high school center in Vastowhose youth orchestra performed yesterday in the splendid setting of the Giardini d’Avalos.

“It’s a collaboration born this year. We started with the concert at the beginning of the school year in the Avalos art gallery, continued with the Christmas concert in the co-cathedral of San Giuseppe and which ended yesterday with the concert at the end of the school year. Madrecultura is always committed to promoting local culture and the Mattioli orchestra is an excellence of Vasto that must be promoted. Thanks to the sensitivity and availability of the manager we thought of this project together. We took care of the organizational part by choosing the location, taking care of the promotion of the event with the press and through social media, limiting entry, making our volunteers available for the organization and reception. It’s clear that the main praise goes to the kids, we only helped them with organization and promotion. We are working on other collaborations which we will announce in the coming months. I take this opportunity to thank the boys, the orchestra and choir masters, the manager, the municipal administration of Vasto and my volunteers who, as usual, were magnificent”, explains the president of the Vasto association Gianluca Casciato.

Large participation for the performance of the Wind Orchestra, led by the maestro Nicola Marianiof the String Orchestra, with the director Angelo Botticellaand of the choir directed by the teacher Tania Buccini.

“The students were extraordinary, among many others they also performed some songs by Morricone and Santana which made my listening experience even more magical and engaging. With the musical directions of our secondary schools, studying music has become without distinction an opportunity for everyone to measure themselves with a world that leads them to experience unforgettable moments of aggregation, sharing and growth. Thanks to the Madrecultura Association for organizing the well-attended event, to the Principal Maria Grazia Angelini and to all the teachers for the results achieved with commitment, passion and professionalism”said the Education Councilor Paola Cianci.

There was a large audience at the Gardens and there was no shortage of greetings from the mayor of Vasto Francesco Menna and the presence of Gabriele Barisano And Anna Bosco, respectively councilors for the Environment and to social policies.
