Milan, 8 June. (askanews) – Extrema outdoor, one of the most important events in Northern Europe, announces its debut in Italy with Extrema Italy, the first edition in Tuscany of an unmissable festival. From Friday 16th to Sunday 18th August, a three-day open-air event dedicated to the legends of world electronic music, in the evocative setting of Guasticce (Livorno), immersed in nature on the banks of a lake, among waterfalls, woods, waterways, far from the coast washed by the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Extrema Festival is renowned for bringing top-level programming to the stage and the first Italian edition will be no different. Located in a breathtaking location, Extrema Festival is not just music, but an immersive outdoor experience. It will be possible to experience the festival in traditional camping mode or opt for the elegance of glamping, with structures that offer every comfort. A perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature without giving up comfort.

Some of the top players on the world scene will take turns on the 3 stages set up for Extrema Italia: Antwerp DJ and producer Amelie Lens, undisputed queen of techno; the Welsh DJ and producer Jamie Jones, whose label ‘Hot Creations’ and residency in Ibiza are among the pillars of the world house scene; the Italian (naturalized Berliner) duo Mind Against which combines the roots of IDM, house and techno; the set of OGUZ, versatile Dutch talent, symbol of the new international hard techno scene; the set of Glowal, a project born from the fusion between Alessandro Gasperini and Fabio Giannelli, with their recognizable sound made of hypnotic atmospheres, contagious rhythms and emotional voices, and again, among the new protagonists of melodic techno the Undercatt, the Belgian Farrago in back back to back with Milo Spykers, Tenax resident Silvie Loto and the American Seth Troxler back to back with Joseph Capriati and many other acts.

The organization of Extrema Festival is entrusted to a team with decades of experience in producing large international events. Their expertise will guarantee an impeccable event from every point of view, from the quality of the artistic proposal, to the care in production, to sustainability, to safety, ensuring an immersive experience – thanks to the setting up of a campsite equipped for all needs – such as few other festivals of this scale in Italy.

The Festival was born from the synergy of Extrema with the Mutex collective, a working group founded by young Italians deeply linked to the Tuscan area where the festival will be held and to the national underground scene. Northern European expertise will combine with Mutex’s passion for the valorization of the territory which includes the music scene and the historical-naturalistic scenery of the same, for an event that will be unique in Italy.
