Taekwondo, extraordinary successes for the “Team Napolano” at the Foro Italico
From 31 May to 3 June, the Foro Italico hosted a memorable event dedicated to Taekwondo, confirming once again the importance of this sport on the European scene. The Kim e Liù 2024 tournament featured young Taekwondo talents, with children aged between 6 and 12 who put on a show and showed their unquestionable talent. During the days from 31 May to 2 June, the Kim and Liù 2024 tournament represented an unmissable opportunity for young athletes from all over Europe. Among the participants, the kangaroos of the Napolano team from Giugliano in Campania stood out, who achieved excellent results and raised the name of their region. Here are the extraordinary results: Gold Medal: Lorenzo Palladino, Anastasiia Kalbina, Paolo Di Maro; Bronze medal: Francesco Procentese, Felicia Mercurio. The young athletes had the honor of meeting prominent figures in the world of Taekwondo, including the famous master Sun Jea Park, pioneer of Taekwondo on a global level.
