The school year saw the implementation of projects such as “From words to facts” and “Ecolubrafriendly” with the Environmental Education Center of the Marine Reserve. Theoretical and practical lessons on the themes of the 2030 Agenda for sustainability.

Circular economy, management of water resources, energy, soil, environment and climate change. These are the topics addressed by approximately 250 children from the primary schools of the Bozzaotra and Pulcarelli Institutes of Massa Lubrense in the school season that is coming to an end.
The activities were carried out by the Environmental Education Center ofPunta Campanella Marine Protected Area, recognized as being of regional interest. In particular, two projects were completed: “From words to deeds” And “Eco-friendly“.
With the aim of raising awareness among young people about the 17 Global Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. To delve deeper into the various environmental issues, training meetings were organized in schools, workshops and outdoor educational experiences. Among the activities worth mentioning, a visit to a local Coldiretti farm to learn more about the soil and greenhouse crops.
Furthermore, with the Anton Dhorn zoological station and with the Amp Punta Campanella, the children participated in an initiative for the release of 3 sea turtles in Puolo, thus learning the importance of protecting species at risk. A further meeting with Gori staff allowed us to explore the issues related to the management and protection of water resources.
Environmental Education actions have made it possible to increase children’s awareness and knowledge regarding the causes and consequences of climate change – underline from the Amp Punta Campanella.
