Everything is ready for the summer experience with Grest in the Diocese of Andria. “Take out into the deep”, this is the slogan that will accompany children and adults alike during the two weeks of the oratory. A proposal conceived by the C.Or.DA group and which focuses on the figure of Simon Peter who two thousand years ago received these words on the shore of Lake Tiberias.
Yesterday, at the “Sacro Cuore” parish in Andria, the mandate for the animators of the diocese took place in the presence of the Bishop, Monsignor Luigi Mansi.
A journey that will now continue, in various ways, in the parish communities. A trip that cannot be without a suitcase filled by the kids with the fundamental objects for the experience: the animator’s shirt, the grest booklet, the cross, the ball and a whistle.
A rather current theme at a time when the Church is called to face various challenges of our time and which this year too will offer young people food for thought to leave their “fixed jobs” and set out towards new challenges.
A nice opportunity also for those who choose to put themselves at service and offer time for the little ones.
At the end of the moment, the church was filled with hearts, a symbolic gesture, a symbol of love that will now infect the entire diocese on summer afternoons that will see small and large protagonists.
