When the police arrived they declared that they had been robbed by some unknown persons, but in reality they had just recovered from a fight with 15 people. Two young people, a 17-year-old and a 26-year-old, were reported by the police from the Cornigliano police station who investigated what happened on Monday 3 June 2024 in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Sampierdarena.
The police officers intervened and found the two injured people, one of whom was then taken to hospital. When asked for explanations, the boys declared that they had been approached by some unknown persons who had tried to rob them.

Nothing was true, thanks to the investigations carried out it was reconstructed that the two had participated in a violent fight with fifteen other people. Both were both reported for the crime of affray. In recent days the police have also carried out targeted checks in the area, including the Fiumara gardens and the surrounding streets. An ethnic food restaurant was closed due to the terrible hygienic conditions in which it was found. Besides, it wasn’t the first time. In November there had already been a license suspension, in March a fine. Inside a large number of cockroaches, dirty equipment and garbage on the counter.
