That report, with the tones of a war bulletin, wanted to bring to mind the collective imagination, a military conquest: reeds uprooted, much of the earth moved and located further downstream and positioned on the sides of the mouth overlooking the sea”. This was stated in a note L’Agorà Cultural Club.
“A kind of “Desert Storm“homemade, where instead of the loss of means of transport and human lives, in the local one there was a budget, as reported by the press, equal to a loan of almost 47 thousand euros assigned to the Municipality of Reggio Calabria who had participated in the specific tender of the Metropolitan City, for three interventions (reclamation of streams Calopinace, Annunziata and Malavenda)”.
“After two years, not only in the same controversial area, walking around the city, we happened to see situations, not at all edifying, in the disinterest of all the institutions. We will begin by highlighting what occurs at the mouth of the Calopinace and along its banks, where the first scrub, reed thickets and various plants begin to appear”.
