RFI, Rome hub: changes to traffic for extraordinary maintenance interventions

ROME – From 11 to 13 June Rete Ferroitaliana Italiana, the lead company of the Infrastructure Hub of the FS Group, will carry out important and urgent extraordinary maintenance works on the tracks of the Rome hub.

The interventions, which require the suspension of railway traffic, are aimed at increasing the efficiency and reliability of the infrastructure in anticipation of the summer season. These works – which began in April – can only be carried out in the presence of certain temperatures but due to the failure to achieve optimal climatic conditions they were postponed and rescheduled in an emergency.

To allow the works to be carried out, railway traffic on the FL5 Rome – Civitavecchia, FL6 Rome – Cassino, FL7 Rome – Naples and FL8 Rome – Nettuno lines will undergo changes. Some trains coming from Umbria will end their journey in Rome Tiburtina

In detail:

On 11 and 13 June some trains on the FL5 Rome – Civitavecchia line will depart from and arrive in Ladispoli from approximately 8.30am to 2.30pm.

On June 12th some trains on the FL6 Rome – Cassino line will end their run in Tiburtina from around 1pm to 4pm.

On June 12th some trains on the FL7 Rome – Naples line will end their run and depart from Rome Tiburtina.

On June 12th some trains on the FL8 Rome – Nettuno line will end and depart from Campoleone.
