The Ferris wheel in Darsena is in operation. Meanwhile, the first summer evenings continue with the Fish Festival
Fiumicino, 8 June 2024 – After the numerous controversies raised over its installation, it was the Fiumicino Ferris wheel was inaugurated last night, from where it will be possible to access the attraction and enjoy the panorama of the city from 32 meters high.
From there you will be able to enjoy a beautiful sunset, admire the most characteristic areas of our city, but not only that: at night the Ferris wheel will be illuminated by 2 thousand LED lights red, blue and green. With 25 cabins and 144 seats, the wheel is also equipped with a cabin dedicated to disabled people.
Ferris wheel ticket cost
The Ferris wheel costs 8 euros and 6 euros (reduced ticket) for three panoramic rides. The ticket is free for people with disabilities Possibility of accessing the gold cabin at a cost of 25 euros per person: the tour lasts half an hour with aperitif included.
It also started last night Fiumicino fish festival, organized as every year by the Pro Loco, which will continue until Sunday 9 June. Right away the program for the two days:
Saturday 8 June
6pm: opening of the creative crafts and typical products market.
7pm: opening of the refreshment area and distribution of dishes until products run out.
9pm: musical entertainment by Ci Manda Rino Trubute Band.
Sunday 9 June
10am: opening of the creative crafts and typical products market.
12-6pm: opening of the refreshment area and distribution of dishes until products run out.
