“Community weavers”: the latest Social Mediation event. Tuesday 11 June from 3.30 pm in the De Pasquale room of the Municipality of Latina
Last appointment for the “Social Mediation – integrated urban recovery” project, promoted by the Municipality of Latina, Department of Public Works, managed by the Il Quadrifoglio cooperative and financed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers as part of the extraordinary intervention program for urban redevelopment and the safety of the suburbs of metropolitan cities and provincial capitals.
The final meeting, entitled “Community weavers. Mediation for community building”, will be held on Tuesday 11 June from 3.30 pm in the Sala De Pasquale of the Municipality of Latina, from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm, and will continue in the Municipality garden until 7.30 pm. During this event, the processes initiated and the outcomes achieved during the project will be presented.
“The “Social mediation: integrated urban recovery” project – declared the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Public Works Planning and Structural Funds, Massimiliano Carnevale – represented an important result for the Authority and for the territory as it saw the implementation of activities focused to the care of the community, greenery, the most disadvantaged categories and young people thanks to collaboration with schools. The project focused on the integration and active participation of citizens, strengthening their ability to work together for a common purpose such as improving the territory they inhabit by increasing the sense of belonging and inclusion. The “Social Mediation” Project represents an added value for the city and a seed of identity that is a harbinger of participation and inclusion”.
