The advancing summer moves new trains guaranteeing more services for the Rivieras and the Cinque Terre. From tomorrow, 9 June, the railway offer in Liguria will be enriched thanks to the new destinations and connections which will allow the improvement of the current calendar of arrivals and departures. The new connections enhance services in the evening and night time slots at the weekend between Sestri Levante and La Spezia, Recco and Sestri Levante, Savona-Ventimiglia and return throughout the summer period until 15/16 September. Trips from Genoa to Sestri Levante on weekends and public holidays and to Savona on Saturdays have also been implemented during the day. The new connections are planned in agreement with TrenItalia and the financing of the Liguria Region. Night trips have been included with departure at 1.16 from Sestri Levante and arrival at La Spezia Migliarina station at 2.18 which will be carried out from Saturday to Monday and the return which will leave from Spezia at 2.45 to reach Sestri at 3.47. In the latter cases the service runs from Friday to Sunday until 15 September. Also during weekends and holidays, connections between Genoa and Sestri Levante were implemented. Also starting tomorrow, 9 5 Terre Express connections will extend the journeys on the route from Levanto to Sestri Levante.
