Castellammare – Gazebo in the villa and traveling tour, Vicinanza and D’Apuzzo close the electoral campaign
The debate has heated up in recent weeks between the two mayoral candidates and their coalitions. Among the main themes, the fight against the Camorra, the underpass in Via Cosenza, bathing, the neighborhoods and the Menti.

Thus Luigi Vicinanza and Mario D’Apuzzo, candidates for mayor in Castellammare di Stabia, chose to close their electoral campaigns respectively. The electoral silence will begin at the stroke of midnight, then it will be time for the vote which, following the outcome of the local elections on 8 and 9 June, will decide who will be the next mayor of Palazzo Farnese. In recent weeks, there has been no shortage of heated debate between the two candidates on various issues. The fight against the Camorra has represented a constant in the path of the two coalitions, with mutual barbs between the parties. Among the issues addressed by the two mayoral candidates, the affair of the underpass in Via Cosenza (with the no expressed in a bipartisan manner at least during the election campaign, pending future developments), the evictions of Savorito and illegal construction in Varano were elements of current affairs for the Stabia community, as well as concern for the near future of
Juve Stabia given that the Romeo Menti needs some adaptation work to be able to host the home matches of the next Serie B championship. Both mayoral candidates have ensured maximum interest in Juve Stabia and for the enhancement of sport and sports facilities on the territory. Then there is the issue linked to bathing with the open debate on the depollution of the Sarno. Ministers Antonio Tajani and Andrea Abodi, for D’Apuzzo, also stopped in the city, as well as Vittorio Sgarbi, Tullio Ferrante and Catello Maresca. Alongside Vicinanza were several regional councilors and councilors, including the regional group leader of the Democratic Party Mario Casillo and Massimiliano Manfredi, Bruna Fiola, Luigi Cirillo, Felice Casucci, Lucia Fortini, as well as the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi and several candidates for the European Parliament. Monday 10 June will be the day in which the name of the next mayor and the composition of the city council will be known which, after two years of commissionership, will take office in the Municipality.
