Another report arrived on our Altamuralife Facebook post. Maria M. commented: “Yesterday we were robbed of two mares, mother and daughter, from our countryside. They have very little economic value but they were the love of my nieces, 1 and a half year old girls, 3-4 years old who were all going the days of feeding them and taking care of them with their parents! We know we won’t find them again, but we also know that there is a crazy silence in Altamura… The things that are done always come to light!
The incident occurred in the Sgarrone district. An appeal was also created on this episode social , complete with photos, with an invitation to share and provide useful information. They are two mares, one 1.60 metres, brown in colour, and the one meter filly, brownish in colour. It is not the economic value that matters, also because it is of little importance. But judgment on criminals is harsh because mares have great sentimental value. Words of condemnation towards those responsible: “You broke the hearts of two little girls who went every day to feed them and take care of them.”
