Forlì, works in via Gorizia. Citizens, traders and health workers protest

(Sixth Power) – Forlì – 7 June 2024 – The protest of all citizens, traders and health workers arises for the closure of via Gorizia for works on the gas and water pipes scheduled from mid-June until September 2024which would affect the stretch from the roundabout with Via Monte San Michele to the entrance to Via Lughese.

To date, almost 300 signatures from citizens and traders have been collected in 48 hours in protest against the decision to close the road in via Gorizia, without them having been taken into consideration, without any concern being given to the inconvenience to health services and shops that are located on this stretch of road.

A year ago the flood forced the closure of health and commercial services due to the disasters caused.

“The owners of the commercial establishments have suffered significant economic damage created by the flood and have restarted with difficulty, without the promised and never provided compensation, and now the three-month works with the closure of the roads will destroy them economically and deprive the citizens of services” : we read in the document signed by citizens and traders.

The signatories of the protest letter ask the municipal administration to “guarantee traffic as possible, as has happened in similar situations in the city!”.
