“Carpegna between Nature, Art, Traditions, Gastronomy”, the environment, the traditions, the typical products, the art in all its forms. From 12 to 16 June Carpegna will be the ‘Squared Capital’ of the ’50×50′ project dedicated to the excellence of the province. The key themes of the program are the environment, traditions, typical products, art in all its forms.

The program “wants to make known and enhance the excellence and peculiarities of this fascinating destination: the uncontaminated environment, the local traditions, the typical products, the art of these places in all its forms. Considering that the Municipality is affected by the administrative elections , it was decided to concentrate the events from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th June”.

Present at the press conference were: Daniele Vimini, president of the Pescheria Centro Arti Visive Foundation; for the Municipality of Carpegna, the councilor for Culture Luca Pasquini and Francesco Mazzarini delegate for Culture and Events; Paolo Cesaretti president of the Casciotta d’Urbino Consortium.

“We are very happy – opened Daniele Vimini – to present the Carpegna week, in one of the most beautiful periods of the year to appreciate the nature and landscape of our territory. For us it has a particular meaning: first of all because between the two Municipalities there is a historical planning collaboration in many areas – not least sport – and then there is a strong bond on culture as art but also as a culture of opportunities in the open air was one of the focal points with which we set the 50×50 strategy thanks also to the dialogue with nearby Romagna. So this week is the possibility of reconnecting with this part of the territory through the artists, hoteliers and all the citizens involved in a large exercise. cultural also in view of the challenge of the following day: the race for European Capital of Culture 2033. I also thank Carpegna for having accepted two projects that are characterizing 50×50, namely Cosa c’è DOP with Food Brand Marche and ‘Castelli Nascosti’ edited by Alessandra Mindoli to discover little-known places”.

This week also makes Carpegna satisfied, Pasquini explained, “also because it will help tourism: it is our lever and in the last two years we have increased attendance by 33% also thanks to school tourism. Those who come to Carpegna come for the nature, the landscape, pure air and important typical products such as Prosciutto di Carpegna DOP exported all over the world and therefore our program is focused on the cultural and environmental characteristics of Carpegna in the heart of the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Park”.
