The President of Pesaro Basket Franco Arceci Consortium declared: “I thank Ario Costa, Luciano Amadori, Fabrizio Malerba and Andrea Rombaldoni for having agreed in 2013 to take on the burden of leading this Company while finding themselves faced with a very complicated economic-financial situation. Now the Club is healthy; In recent weeks there has been intense work between the previous and current Board of Directors in terms of handover”.

Lots of warmth and enthusiasm from the many fans present for the return of coach Sacripanti who will also be responsible for the Sports Area. “I’m really happy to be back here in Pesaro – said ‘Pino’ -, a city to which I have been attached since I had the opportunity to coach Vuelle for two years. Pesaro has always remained in my heart, I am very proud of this very important challenge in one of the most important places in basketball and which I feel like my home. We will start again with a young man with great hopes, Octavio Maretto. There is a lot of work to do, a championship awaits us in which the Italians have a central role. The Club wants to bring VL back to where it deserves to be, a goal I share. My staff will include Giacomo Baioni – with whom I worked years ago – Luca Pentucci and Roberto Venerandi. I will also have Walter Magnifico with me, together we worked very well with the Under 20 national team.”
