Works on the Arezzo railway lines

From Sunday 9 June to Monday 30 September, works are scheduled for the renewal of approximately 20 kilometers of track in total between the towns of Arezzo and Castiglion Fiorentino, and between the towns of Indicatore and Ponticino, on the Conventional Florence-Rome line. During the works, which involve an investment of approximately 15 million euros, over 50 technicians from the Italian Railway Network (lead company of the Infrastructure Hub of the FS Italiane Group) and the contracting companies will be employed daily, with the use of two construction trains and numerous work vehicles. Construction activities will take place at night to minimize inconvenience. During the works between the affected locations a speed reduction will be established; this will lead to the modification of departure and arrival times for some regional trains.

Changes to the circulation of Trenitalia Regional trains on the Florence-Rome Conventional line, from 9 June to 30 September 2024, due to the works for the renewal of the tracks between Arezzo and Castiglion Fiorentino and between Indicatore and Ponticino. Timetable changes and cancellations are expected for some regional trains on the Florence-Rome and Florence-Foligno lines. Trenitalia’s purchasing channels are updated with the new offer.
