There Emilia Romagna region maintains its commitment to allocate additional resources in the budget, 10 million eurosFor accommodate increases in fees in Residential homes for the elderly.

In agreement with Anci and Unions, the 10 million will come assigned to the Municipalities through the Regional Social Fund to support users and families with medium-low and low incomes. The memorandum of agreement was signed on 31 May by the Emilia-Romagna Region, Trade Unions (CGIL CISL and UIL, SPI CGIL, FNP CISL and UILP) and ANCI.

The extraordinary economic commitment planned by the Region allows guests of residential homes for non-self-sufficient elderly people not to suffer the increases in fees for 2024, being able to count on a decrease of 4.10 euros per day (for an indicative annual total exceeding 1,300 euros) if they have a Social and health ISEE with a value equal to or less than 12,000 euros and are not already recipients of a reduction in the cost-sharing of the service by the Municipality of residence.

Even those who have a Social and health ISEE for residences with a value less than or equal to 20,000 euros they will be able to count on one reduction of the frequency line equal to 3 euros per day.

All people currently placed in an accredited and contracted residential home for the elderly, or those who have been placed in these facilities during 2024, even if they have concluded, will be contacted and invited to prepare the residence socio-health ISEE, which will be prepared by 20 September 2024.
