Next week the lagoon municipal council will vote on an amendment to the change in the Municipality’s 24-26 multi-year budget, to reopen the ministerial technical table on this tax, with the aim of bringing fresh resources to the city.
The boarding tax
The declared objective is to get the tax back on track, this time in a version that is adequate “to the provisions of the ruling of the Council of State”, which reformed the provisions of the Regional Administrative Court for Veneto which had instead rejected the appeals presented.
The judges of Rome highlighted how the Municipal Administration now has the right “to re-exercise the power in compliance with the conforming constraints deriving from this decisum”, which takes the form of the possibility of requesting the reopening of the technical table.
But on the subject the budget councilor, who will have the delegation, together with the director of the finance area of the Municipality to ask for the reopening of the technical table, prefers to keep a low profile, highlighting how citizens will have to do without greater resources to approximately 13 million which were budgeted for 2024 and which will now have to be covered in another way.
