Legnano – The athletics field in via della Pace will once again be the scene of a great event sports day with the second edition of Legnano Sprint & Jump on the calendar Sunday 9 June next..
Fifth and final stage of Cesare Brambilla Trophy 2024 reserved for the boys and cadet categories, the event, organized jointly by US Legnanese 1913 and fromAthletics PARconfirms and strengthens the collaboration between these two important sporting realities in the area.
The event represents the pinnacle of mutual support of the companies led by Luca Roveda And Umberto Scordamaglia whose goal is to create a sports continuum which, starting from the very young people to whom the Canegrato group pays attention, extends up to the masters, the flagship of the established Legnano tradition, thus promoting the passion for athletics in all age groups.
Among the noteworthy results in 2023 we certainly remember that of Daniele Inzoli, standard bearer of Atletica Riccardi, who concluded the 80m cadets flying in 8”97; and the 10″54 of teammate Ruskin Molinari, who dominates the 100m race.
For women, a great day for Elisabetta Viandibearer of the Fiamme Oro: she won the silver medal in the 100m (11”96), and the gold medal in the 200m (24”20) ahead of Virginia Troiani/CUS Pro Patria Milano (24”52).
After the excellent response to the first edition last May, the synergy between US Legnanese 1913 and Atletica PAR promises to offer high-level sporting performances this year too.
The tests include an even richer calendar with a meeting at 8.30 and the start of the competition at 9.30 for athletes in the Junior and Cadet categories – for the latter the event is valid as the fifth test of the Cesare Brambilla Trophy; and instead meeting at 12.30 with first tests at 1.30 pm for the Absolutes.
