Diego Fuserformer Torino player and teammate of Paolo Vanoli at Parma from 1998 to 2000, he spoke in an interview with The print of the future – barring sensational twists – grenade technician.

“A very good and serious boy, who believes in work and has a smile on his face. I would be very happy to see him at Toro. I will be his first fan and I will return to the stadium, but I will have the tickets offered to me…”.
When you were friends, was it clear that you would become a coach one day?
“I have to tell the truth: no. It was a surprise for me, but he deserves everything he’s getting.”
Don’t you think he might have little CV for a team like Torino, which among other things he will lead in a championship he has never attended?
“No, because he gained the experience at Inter with Conte and then in the Italy youth team. He even collaborated with the first team.”
You know the environment well, what advice would you give?
“He must immediately feel like a Toro, when you have this perception and can identify with the fan, he has already taken a big step forward.”
What do you wish him?
“I would really like to win the derby again.”
