Musical show in San Leucio but also excursions, artistic exhibitions, theatrical performances, Lego bricks and much more. Don’t know what to do at the weekend? Here are our suggestions.
Music
– After the public and critical success of last year, “Terrazza Leuciana – Tramonti al Belvedere” returns, a music listening event that will be held every Sunday in June on the San Leucio terrace. On June 9th the group Le Armonie will perform, a trio of superlative voices defined by music critics as the female Volo, with maestro Antonello Cascone on the piano, arranger of, among others, Andrea Bocelli and Massimo Ranieri as well as the Orchestra Mediterranea.
Theater
– The “Jovinelli Project”, a theater workshop organized by the APS Pro Loco Caiazzo “Nino Marcuccio”, has come to an end. The students of the practical theater workshop will present “Cafè Napoli” on June 7th at 8pm at the Jovinelli Theater in Palazzo Mazziotti.
Inauguration
– At the end of the events of the twenty-second edition of the “Tu Donna” cycle of the Great Events of the “A. Barchetta” ODV will host a new important event. The reference is to the inauguration of the 2to headquarters of the Cultural Library “A. Barchetta” dedicated mainly to the Book Fund “Don Salvatore d’Angelo – Monsignor Pietro Farina – Don Stefano Tagliafierro”.
Exhibitions
– A large retrospective is the theme of Rino Telaro’s exhibition which will be held until June 30th at the Training House, a former gym in via Ferrarecce 102 in Caserta. The title of the exhibition is “Carpe Diem”, an invitation to seize the moment, to fully live your life experience.
– Until June 24th, Spazio n°7 in via Vico in Caserta will host “Lœs”, a double solo exhibition by Luigi Ambrosio and Riccardo Battaglia which takes its name from the pronunciation of the term of German origin Löss (or Loess): “sedimentary rock melted”, pulverized and transported by the wind.
– The “Visioni” exhibition can be visited until 15 July in the spaces of the Grand Gallery of the Royal Palace of Caserta. The exhibition of the projects “Attraversamenti” by Luciano D’Inverno and “Genius et Loci – The dramaturgy of the gaze” by Luciano Romano.
– Until 8 June at the Palazzo della Cultura in Marcianise the photographic exhibition “Aldo Moro. Memory, politics, democracy” created by the Riccardi Archive to remember the human and political story of the Honorable Aldo Moro.
Excursions
– The second edition of the Ciclostorica Epica Vanvitelliana, third stage of the Giro delle Regioni, will be staged on Sunday 9 June. Event that attracts and brings together cyclists from various parts of Italy who, with vintage bicycles and period clothing, will cross the streets of the province of Caserta and Benevento, following ancient routes also made up of dirt roads that will lead cyclists to admire and discover the scenic and monumental beauties of our territory.
Events
– On 8 and 9 June, on the occasion of the third edition of the “Gnomes in celebration” event, the magical Bosco dei Cerri of the Royal Site of Carditello will be populated by the “Piccolo Popolo”. The event will fill the Royal Palace of Carditello and its beautiful forest with magic for two days.
– Given the great success achieved, at the Maria Carolina Gardens in Caserta (70 meters from the Royal Palace) “Brick Live-Ocean – Your LEGO world” is extended until July 14th with opening from Friday to Sunday and holidays from 10am to 9pm. The long-awaited international event has won over children and fans from all over the world. With many millions of Lego bricks, now until July, the possibility of playing together with the whole family, freeing imagination and creativity in the name of a world full of ageless colors and emotions.
