Grosseto: The Grosseto Tennis Club has recently experienced moments of great joy and pride, thanks to the extraordinary successes achieved by its men’s and women’s teams. These results are testimony to the hard work, dedication and constant commitment of the athletes and technical staff.

There men’s team of the Grosseto Tennis Club achieved a fundamental victory in the Serie D1 group. This achievement represents not only a recognition of the talent and preparation of the athletes, but also a crucial step towards achieving even more ambitious goals.

The victory in the group, in fact, allowed the team to advance to the regional scoreboard as top finishers. This success was the result of a series of matches played with determination and strategy, in which each member of the team gave their all.

The team’s next objective is the passage to Serie C. The regional draw will be a demanding challenge, but the performances shown so far give rise to hope. The team is captained by Fabio Parigi and is made up of Alessandro Parigi, Michele Rosi, Niccolò Chelli, Mattia Biagiotti, Michele Giovagnoli, Sandro Zullo and Emanuele Papini.

The athletes of Serie C Women of the Grosseto Tennis Club also shone, winning their group and advancing as first classified. This result was achieved thanks to a combination of talent, physical and tactical preparation, and an indomitable team spirit. After dominating the group, the women’s team continued its triumphant path in the regional playoffs, winning the first two days against Pisa. These successes have guaranteed access to the national draw, an objective that requires a victory in both the first leg and the second leg to achieve promotion to Serie B.

The team is led by captain Alberto Sarubbi and made up of Valeria Prosperi, Martina Pratesi, Irene Parigi, Anna Nerelli, Rachele Saleppico, Giulia Duchini and Maria Vittoria Viviani.

Also in the TPRA Italian Cup for Men’s Doubles Teams, the Grosseto Tennis Club demonstrated its value, finishing in first place and qualifying for the final phase to be held in Ponsacco. This result is the result of impeccable teamwork and a winning strategy. The team faced high-level opponents, but thanks to the cohesion and preparation of its members, it managed to dominate the group.
