The Prime Minister, Giorgia Melonichose the maison Talarico as an official partner for i gifts to be delivered to the Heads of State and Government who will take part in the next one G7 which will be held in Borgo Egnazia in Puglia from 13 to 15 June. Summit participants will be given a leather bag for women, silver cufflinks for men and the Talarico tie for delegations, made in only 3 copies per design, with “X” stitching.

This year the Talarico brand turns 25, since Maurizio Talarico, of Calabrian origins, landed in Rome in 1999 with a dream: to transform his passion for ties into his work. Thus he opens his first and only showroom in Italy, in the capital. In 2019 Tiziano Talarico, Maurizio’s son, joined the company and expanded the offer by creating, in addition to ties and scarves, lines of accessories, including beach and leather products. In 2002 Talarico became a supplier to US President George W. Bush. Since then, many national and international political figures have chosen the maison’s products. From the presidents of the Republic Francesco Cossiga, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, Giorgio Napolitano and Sergio Mattarella to the presidents of the Council Romano Prodi, Silvio Berlusconi, Mario Monti, Matteo Renzi, Paolo Gentiloni and Giuseppe Conte.
In 2002 the leap to international level, when it became a supplier to American President George W. Bush, from there began an escalation of national and international political figures. In 2020, it was the official partner for the gifts of the Italian Pavilion at the Expo. In 2021, at the G7 in Corbis Bay and at the G20 in Rome, President Mario Draghi chose Talarico ties and scarves as gifts for heads of state.
