The Fiamme Gialle of the Provincial Command of Treviso, delegated by the Court of Bologna, carried out the confiscation of a property following the final sentence of the owner to thirty months of imprisonment for a tax fraud committed between 2012 and 2016, involving approximately thousands of taxpayers.
The property, located in the province of Bologna and with a commercial value of approximately 100 thousand euros, housed a Tax Assistance Center managed by the owner.
The provision concludes the “Easy Credit” operation, which led to the reporting of 66 people to the Judicial Authority of Bologna for undue receipt of disbursements to the detriment of the State and to the identification of approximately 1000 unfaithful tax returns, aimed at obtaining credits of tax not due.
The CAF manager, in exchange for compensation, had facilitated the practices of numerous customers, allowing them to obtain undue IRPE.F credits. for over two million euros, bypassing the computer system for “automated control” of tax returns.
The investigation, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Bologna and conducted by the Treviso Group, unmasked the entire fraud mechanism and led to the cancellation of over three hundred 730 forms, containing almost one million euros of IRPE.F credits. not due.
The suspects, all foreign citizens residing in the national territory, with the complicity of the CAF, used various expedients, such as indicating non-existent tax credits, dependent family members residing abroad without a tax code and deductions for non-existent children in foster care pre-adoptive, including disabled people.
Due to the seriousness and continuity of the crimes, the Judicial Authority had ordered the urgent preventive seizure of the property, a provision which has now been confirmed with the definitive confiscation.
