In Lavello everything is ready for the celebrations of Saint Anthony of Padua! This is the program

7 June 2024

The devotion of Saint Anthony of Padua it is deeply felt in Basilicata and especially in the Vulture-Melfese area, where it is venerated with religious festivals in the towns of Lavello, Melfi and Barile.

TO Sink religious worship is organized by Parish of Sant’Antonio.

The historic church for the Lavella community is located in the center of the town and was built around the 16th century as the church of Santa Maria di Loreto together with a Franciscan convent.

It took the name of Sant’Antonio in 1936 and became, in fact, a Parish.

This is the religious program:

  • 7.00 pm – Holy Mass animated by parish groups;

Followed by Tredicina in honor of the Saint.

Thursday June 13th:

  • 6.30 – 7.30 – 8.30 – 9.30 – 11.00, Holy Masses;
  • 6.30 pm – Procession through the city streets. Upon returning, Holy Mass and Blessing with the Relic of the Saint.
  • 10.00 pm – Fireworks at Zone 167.
