There are 37 Sicilian municipalities called to elect their administrative bodies in conjunction with the vote for the European elections. Caltanissetta is the only provincial capital to vote, with 5 candidates for mayor. Both centre-right and centre-left parties in some of the major voting municipalities support different candidates. The operations will take place on Saturday 8 June, from 3pm to 11pm, and Sunday 9 June, from 7am to 11pm. The counting will begin on Monday at 2pm.
