A 40-year-old from Sassari accused of creating counterfeit Meloni porn videos.
Tomorrow morning in Sassari the defamation trial against a 40-year-old man from Sassari, accused of having published fake videos of the Prime Minister on an American porn website Georgia Meloni.
Giorgia Meloni will be there to testify, constituted constituted civil party and called to testify as the offended party, but will do so via videoconference directly from Rome. The hearing, scheduled for 1pm, will take place in the courtroom of the Court of Assizes, equipped with the necessary equipment for the live connection.
Meloni, assisted by the lawyer Maria Giulia Marongiu, has already announced one request for compensation of 100 thousand euroswhich will be donated to the Ministry of the Interior fund for women victims of violence. The investigation was launched by the Sassari Postal Police in 2020, following a tip from Rome. The officers traced the authors of the videos through the nickname used on the website, identifying the telephone number from which the data had been uploaded.
The father and son, defended by the lawyer Maurizio Serra, ended up on trial. The 73-year-old asked and obtained from judge Monia Adami probation and assignment to the External Penal Enforcement Office, for a 4-month community service program, which he will carry out at the Italian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted.
