AIELLI – These are the last crucial days to join the Borgo Universo Urban Trail scheduled for Sunday 9 June in Aielli, known as the town of murals.
Enthusiasm and commitment are certainly not lacking among the organizers of the Polisportiva Asd I Marsi who are coordinating the setup with the Provincial UISP of L’Aquila and the UISP Abruzzo and Molise athletics sector, by virtue of the assignment of the regional urban trail titles.
With a spirit of participation and a lot of good will, the runners must train for a 10.8 kilometer journey divided into three city laps.
The route winds through the alleys of the village passing under the many works of art created in recent years: from the Okuda arch (place of departure scheduled for 10:00), passing through Millo, the Divine Comedy and many others with departure and arrival under the now famous avenue of colored umbrellas. The maximum time to reach the arrival is 2 hours.
Online registrations (on Digital Race), at a fee of 10 euros, will close on Saturday 8 June and once a total of 200 registered athletes have been reached. The race package is guaranteed to the first 150 registered participants.
The awards ceremony concerns the first 3 overall men and women, the first 3 of the UISP categories, the first 3 companies with at least 10 athletes regularly reaching the finish line.
