LThe State Police, as part of the activities carried out with the ultimate aim of preventing the proliferation of particularly alarming social situations for public order and safety, has notified two provisions pursuant to art. 100 TULPS which provides for the suspension of licenses for 7 and 10 days respectively issued by the police commissioner of the province of Foggia, towards the owners of commercial establishments located in the streets adjacent to the city centre.
The measures adopted arise from the repeated checks carried out by the Administrative and Social Police Division of the Foggia Police Headquarters, by the Flying Squad and by the San Severo Crime Prevention Department, which made it possible to reveal the frequenting of the premises by highly dangerous convicted persons social.
Particularly significant is the circumstance that dozens of patrons monitored within the clubs, in addition to being convicted, were found not to be regularly registered in the members’ register.
Please note that the suspension of the authorization imposed by the police commissioner is adopted on the basis of the provisions of article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security, a rule which aims to protect public order and safety.
In addition to the case of contraindicated attendance, this provision can also be issued when disorder or episodes of violence occur in a public establishment.
In more serious cases or when there is repetition of the same conduct, the definitive revocation of the commercial authorizations can be proposed to the mayor, through the prefect.
Furthermore, the operational services carried out with the collaboration of the Carabinieri, the Financial Police and the Local Police made it possible to achieve the following results: 58 pieces of goods administratively seized for violation of the regulation of trade in public areas; 7 controlled commercial establishments; 214 people identified; 85 vehicles checked; 9 controlled commercial premises.
The attention of the State Police continues to remain high throughout the Province in relation to Administrative Police checks, which will continue to be carried out without interruption, in order to prevent illicit conduct and guarantee the safety of citizens.
