It is online on the website Veneto region the 2024 call for the granting of ccontributions to film and audiovisual production for a total amount of 4 million euros.
The support comes under the PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027. Priority 1 OS 1.3 Action 1.3.11 “Interventions to support cultural, creative and audiovisual businesses – Sub C – Audiovisual production”.
The budget of 4 million euros is earmarked to the support of the production of fiction feature films, television series And animation for a total of 3.6 million euros, and the production of documentaries, short films And virtual and immersive reality works for which 400 thousand euros are reserved.
The announcement is divided into two windows: the first in expires on June 18th; the second yes will open on October 8 and close on November 19, 2024.
The aim of the action is to strengthen the Veneto audiovisual system operating in the territory as well as encouraging an increase in the number of national and foreign film production companies making investments in the regional territory. Specifically, the objectives are the growth of the competitiveness of Veneto companies operating in the cinema and audiovisual sector, the valorisation of local technical and artistic professionalism in the audiovisual sector, the promotion of knowledge of the artistic and landscape heritage and the typical productions of the region.
The results of each window will be published within the maximum period of 120 days from the closure of the window.
This first 2024 call will be followed by a second, in continuity with what happened in 2023, when contributions were granted to 19 feature film productions, television and animation series and 10 documentary and short film productions.
