Viterbo – “The mayor Chiara Frontini is governing in complete solitude. And he also allows himself to offend the workers and the general secretary of Uil Giancarlo Turchetti.
They would care to let us know how the Pnrr procurement is going. The mayor and councilor Emanuele Aronne promised us that they would keep the trade unions informed. Instead they had a meeting and then disappeared.”
This was declared by the general secretary of Feneal Uil, Francesco Palese, after the statements made by the mayor Frontini, during the dinner at the home of councilor Marco Bruzziches on the evening of 26 September last year, about municipal employees and Turchetti.
“An offensive and inappropriate language for a mayor – continues Palese – which demonstrates once again that there are those who can say and do what they like. And he doesn’t count that certain statements were made during a dinner. Also because in private we are usually more authentic and show ourselves for who we are. And workers and union leaders cannot be offended as if nothing had happened. And there are no distinctions between workers. Workers all deserve respect. And the union deserves it. Union which is serious business. Union that works from morning to night to give people answers.
Not only that – adds Palese -, but the mayor should also be concerned about keeping the unions informed about the Pnrr contracts. Councilor Emanuele Aronne promised us that it would be like this.
