Pesaro.- Pia Perricci, candidate for mayor of Pesaro for the civic list “Veni Oltre” has denounced the exponent of the 5Star Movement Lorenzo Lugli for threats.
“On the evening of May 29th, Lugli of the 5 Star Movement – writes the coordinator of the list Maurizio Tonelli – forwarded a threat to the candidate for Mayor Pia Perricci because she published a post on Facebook around 5pm, where it was reported that the 5 Star Movement unanimously, had voted for the Tari increase ( link https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid02tFPfM1Nd5a1AXUuLyiC3M9XZDDaUirYedAkq2GGcUfeKVfCenKVRPKpbMvYZ2iZel&id=61551877898769
Suddenly in the middle of the night – adds Tonelli – at 11.15 pm, Lugli from his telephone number,
he forwarded a threatening message to Pia Perricci, attempting to intimidate her and try to silence her.
Our mayoral candidate, after a moment of panic, took courage and responded to the 5star exponent who did not accept the threats. This way of doing politics – underlines the coordinator of the venire Oltre list – does not belong to us.
Politics should be clear information to citizens, and not a clumsy attempt to silence those who try to do it.
Following these threats, Pia Perricci, to protect herself and all her loved ones as well as the members of the list, filed a complaint reporting the incident”.
