From the “keyboard lions”, to the “pathological counters” of presences in the square, up to those who snub the square… there is something for all tastes

Last day of the election campaign then, probably, we will have another two weeks waiting for the ballot.

I have already written about an electoral campaign carried out almost entirely on social media, which now influence our existence, probably, more than is legitimate.

In reality, the problem wouldn’t even be with those who write, the now well-known “keyboard lions”; but of those who take everything published at face value. As if it were the Gospel.

The “day after” post is worth little or nothing. Only the taste of the voyeur who doesn’t leave the house… in short, the usual voyeurs who, not having the courage to live a life of their own, enjoy judging others.

However, it remains a precise fact. The electorate seems increasingly distant from being interested in “public affairs”. Oh how I would like to be proven wrong next weekend, but I’m afraid that won’t be the case.

A commitment for every person who proposes himself, at any level, whether citizen, national or European, must be to revive trust.
