Restoration of Via Puglie and part of XX Settembre in Cerignola: work begins

A control room has been established between Municipality of Cerignola and the sub-service companies (Enel, Telecom, Acquedotto Pugliese) who intervene in the city with excavation works and placing traces on the road surface. The aim is to prevent the flooring from being subjected to repeated interventions by the various companies that deal with underground services, thus remaining uneven for a long time.

The meeting with the companies (Enel, Acquedotto Pugliese, Telecom) was attended bySecurity Councilor Teresa CicolellaL’Councilor for the Environment and Public Works Michele LasalviaThe Manager Michele Prencipe.

Starting from the assumption that the works being carried out serve to improve the network of underground services (for example near the Corso Multiplex Cinema they have replaced an electrical substation installed 60 years ago), these interventions will continue in the next few days, providing for maintenance at cost zero for the community.

The works from Via Puglie to Via Milano will start this evening at the expense of theApulian aqueduct. The resurfacing of the last stretch of the road is also planned West Avenue until USA Avenue until after Palazzo Lelli (at Enel’s expense).

As regards the excavations of Consular Street And via Fratelli Rosselli and many others, it was agreed that the road resurfacing will be resurfaced only when all the underground utilities companies have completed the planned works.
