LATINA – More successes and many medals for the boys of the Diaphorà of Latina at the Special Olympics Italia Swimming “Play The Games” in Tivoli, which saw over 500 athletes from 34 delegations from Lazio, Umbria, Tuscany and Sardinia compete. The Pontine Team, led by Mister Emanuele Di Russo, by the sports coordinator Armando La Greca, by the volunteers Francesco Canari, Roberto Petrocelli, Valentina Di Nunno and Cristina La Penna, created a truly extraordinary three days.

It is useless to describe the happiness of the athletes and the team spirit that animates the kids, stimulated by sporting activity and increasingly capable of achieving excellent results thanks to their commitment. The team was led by Bruno Mucci, founder and former president of Diaphorà who, supported by volunteers, supported and motivated the athletes throughout the event. Another goal achieved by the association, whose headquarters on the outskirts of Villa Fogliano has become a point of reference for the city with solidarity breakfasts on Saturday mornings and aperitifs on Thursday evenings entirely prepared by the kids.
