PAVIA – Tomorrow Friday 7 June 2024, from 9 am, in the Aula Volta of the University of Pavia (in Strada Nuova, 65 – PV lena.unipv.it) the master presentation in Radioprotection 2024/25 of the Department of Physics Nuclear Energy Laboratory will be held application of the University
“The Master – explain the organizers – aims to develop skills that can be used both in public and private structures, in different fields: academic, industrial and hospital with excellent employment prospects in a short time. In order to guarantee an effective integration between theory and practice, and to facilitate entry into the world of work – he adds -, the internship is organized in close collaboration with bodies, academic institutions and industries in the sector which will present themselves in a space suitable for them dedicated.”
Ultimate objective: to allow students to acquire professional skills, preparing them to face challenges and opportunities in various contexts.
The program follows:
9am: registration;
9.15am:
introduce: prof. Pietro Carretta (Director of the Physics Department), prof. Francesca Ballarini (President of CTS);
9.40 am:
presentation of the Master: Prof. Nicoletta Protti (Coordinator of the Master) Doctor. Andrea Salvini (LENA Director);
10.15am: coffee break;
interventions from the world of work: hospitals and research centres, companies involved in the management of radioactive waste, certification bodies, analysis laboratories;
11.30 am:
visit to LENA (only for people pre-registered for the event)
