Some young people from Arezzo will end up in front of the Perugia judge for a nightclub brawl that took place in a club in the Alto Tiber during a concert on 25 April 2022. The pre-trial hearing, a new instrument introduced by the Cartabia law, has however been postponed to 15 October due to a defect in notification to the defendants. Among these are the group of friends from Arezzo who are followed at every stage by the lawyers Piera Santoro, Cristiano Giannini Cazzavacca, Carlo Micheli, Alessandro Mori, Francesca Marolda and Beatrice Laudi.
According to the Perugia Prosecutor’s Office, the defendants acted in concert following a banal verbal warning from a 21-year-old boy “who complained of continuous and unmotivated pushing during a concert”, and who was subsequently hit “repeatedly with punches to the face and kicks to the body” resulting in injuries judged to be healable in eight days.
According to the reconstruction of Perugia Today, some boys, in order to make room and reach a more favorable position under the stage, started to push, some of them didn’t like it and a fight broke out. When the Carabinieri arrived, the argument had been quelled and the situation returned to normal.
