Reduction of waiting lists: the Meloni Government intervenes on the issue through a decree and a bill which gives healthcare companies the possibility of using accredited private individuals to contain and, possibly, eliminate the problem. One of two things: either the Government copied the “Molise model”, the one launched by the commissioner structure, or Marco Bonamico and Ulisse Di Giacomo have divinatory powers and have therefore read into the future the intentions of Meloni, Schillaci (minister of health ) and partners.
The fact is that the government’s position follows the main innovations introduced in Molise to decongest the system, starting from the possibility of purchasing services from private individuals that the public service is unable to guarantee in civilized times but in biblical times. Private individuals who, in the case of Molise, are all those accredited, including those who currently do not have any contract with the Molise Region. In the Meloni – Schillaci decree reference is then made to the establishment of the single regional Cup, i.e. a single booking system that includes both the public and private sectors. Furthermore, the services can also be provided on Saturdays and Sundays.
Cittadinanzattiva intervened on the topic with a note, which judges favorably the fact that the decree reiterates that agendas cannot be closed and that intramoenia services cannot exceed public ones.
From Cittadinanzattiva there is also a request for greater clarity on the mechanisms for citizens to appeal to private individuals and on the actual possibility of receiving treatment in compliance with territorial areas. Furthermore, adds the association, it is necessary to allocate adequate resources.
On this profile it should be remembered that the Molise commissioner structure has allocated 1 million and 800 thousand euros, equal to 0.3% of the regional financial endowment and that for 2024 the sum, increasing the rate to 0.4%, will pass to two and a half million euros.
