UDINE – The Municipality of Udine has proclaimed the citizen mourning for the day of TomorrowWednesday 5 June, when in the Mansutti Funeral Home next to the urban cemetery of San Vito, in the Friulian capital, the religious farewell to Patrizia Cormos and Bianca Doros will be heldthe girls who lost their lives in the flood of the Natisone river in Premariacco on May 31st.
«The whole city of Udine close to the drama»
The municipal administration itself communicated this through a note. In consideration of the tragic nature of the event which affected the Udine and Friulian communities in particular, the mayor, Alberto Felice De Toni, who signed the provision, «believes that the city feels particularly close to the drama of the families of Patrizia and Bianca – we read in the note – The first young woman in fact attended the Tiepolo Academy of Fine Arts in Udine and was a model student, while the second was visiting her parents, who lived in the city”. Therefore, «to demonstrate in a tangible way the closeness of the community, the administration has decided to proclaim city mourning. The request coming from the Municipality is to respect and honor the memory of the two girls and the pain of their families, in particular in the difficult hours of saying goodbye to the two young people”.
