The Venezia FC announces that it has deposited today, via certified e-mail to the Lega Serie A and via the web portal to the FIGC, all the documentation necessary for registration for the 2024/25 Serie A championship.

“In order to fulfill the deadlines of the FIGC’s infrastructural criteria, the orange-green club has filed the request for the exemption to play the home matches of the 2024-25 season at the “U-Power Stadium” in Monza following the authorization of the Prefect.

The adaptation works of the Penzo stadium will begin soon with the aim of playing the first home match of next season in front of their own fans.

Venezia FC thanks the AC Monza 1912 club and in particular the CEO Adriano Galliani. We also thank the municipality of Monza, the mayor of Monza Paolo Pilotto, the Prefect Patrizia Palmisani, the Police Commissioner Salvatore Barillaro, the Municipality of Venice, the Mayor of Venice Luigi Brugnaro, the Prefect Darco Pellos and the Police Commissioner Gaetano Bonaccorso for their availability and effective collaboration”.

Niederauer’s words on the stadium
Having put the promotion to Serie A on hold, the time has now come for Venezia to think about the problems to be resolved to meet the needs of the top flight. First of all the one linked to the stadium.

“We hope to be ready – president Duncan Niederauer tells La Gazzetta dello Sport -. We have many things to do, but I repeat: today Venezia has an organizational structure capable of facing Serie A”.
