A long Unipd weekend to celebrate the Saint of Padua

Teaching activities are suspended on June 13thday dedicated to the celebrations of patron saint of Padua, Sant’Antonio, and the June 14th, Justinian feast. These days however, different study rooms remain openwhile the Unipd offices they’re closed. The libraries of the University library system may undergo changes in opening times.

In the weekend it is possible to join the Sundays at the Museum with interactive activities and guided tours included in the ticket in the Unipd museums of the History of Physics Giovanni Poleni, of Geography, and of Archaeological Sciences of Art; remains open also the Museum of Nature and Man.

AtBotanical Garden, the regular opening to visits (independent or guided) is accompanied by the possibility of visiting the exhibition “Plants, in the eyes of science”. Furthermore, a double exhibition dedicated to the architect Daniele Calabi, organized by the University of Padua, with the departments of Cultural Heritage and Civil and Environmental Construction Engineering, can be visited at Palazzo del Monte di Pietà, as well as widely on the listòn and at Ca Lando.

In this weekend, which is becoming very long and also includes June 13th and 14th, Palazzo Bo it is animated by guided tours, with a special tour on Gio Ponti’s 20th century.
At the Portello The River Film Festival continues, with free themed screenings from 13 to 15 June and the final awards ceremony on the evening of 16 June.

From 8 to 13 June, it is possible to visit the Eremitani Museum (excluding the Scrovegni Chapel), Palazzo Zuckermann, Palazzo della Ragione, the Museum of the Risorgimento and the Contemporary Age for free in Padua.
