A regional contribution for the Torgnon taxi bus

15 thousand euros have been allocated to cover part of the costs of the transport service that connects the hamlets of Torgnon

The taxi-bus activated in Torgnon will also be able to count on an allocation from the Region this year to cover part of the costs of the service. The Aosta Valley government has in fact allocated around 15 thousand euros to cover 70% of the operating costs of the transport service entrusted by the municipal administration to a Saint-Vincent company.

The Torgnon taxi bus will be active in the summer. From 29 June to 8 September an eight-seater minibus shuttle will be operational and in the most tourist period, in August, a second vehicle will be added. The service will be operational from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm and will connect the twenty-two hamlets of Torgnon with the centre, also reaching the upper part of the territory up to Plan Prorion and Chantorné where the starting points for numerous excursions are located, an equipped area, the Summer Park and various refreshment points.

In addition to the single ticket costing 1.50 euros, you can purchase a weekly ticket (15 euros for a maximum of thirty journeys). Special trips connecting to the junction for Antey-Saint-André and Letodor will also be possible.
