Diocesan Caritas of Pozzuoli, Father Giuseppe Carulli appointed new Director

The bishop of Diocese of Pozzuoli and of Ischia Don Carlo Villano he named father Giuseppe Carulli new Director of Caritas diocesan of Pozzuoli. The position will last five years, starting from June 7th.

The mayor also congratulated Pozzuoli Gigi Manzoni: “I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Father Giuseppe Carulli on his appointment. I am sure that his dedication, his spirit of service and his deep faith will be a great inspiration for all those who collaborate with Caritas and for the people who will benefit from his work.”

Born in Bari born in 1968, ordained priest in 1996, Father Carulli he was director of the diocesan Caritas of Melfi-Rapolla-Venosa from 2002 to 2007, regional delegate of Caritas Basilicata from 2004 to 2007, deputy director of the diocesan Caritas of Ischia in 2015-16.

Father Carulli he held the role of Superior of the General Curia of the Congregation of the Mission of St. Vincent De Paul for three terms. He is also the author of the book “That day in Châtillon. Origins and development of Vincentian volunteering (until the Second Vatican Council)” – CLV Edizioni Vincenziane (2015).
