  • You can vote for a party that supports a presidential candidate by placing an “X” on the party symbol, expressing up to two preferences for the candidates on the list, a man and a woman. In this case, the vote will also be counted in favor of the presidential candidate linked to the regional list.
  • You can vote for only one president by drawing the “X” on the name of the presidential candidate or on the symbol next to his name; in doing so, the vote cast will be counted for the presidential candidate and for his regional list.
  • You can vote for a candidate and also for the party that supports him by placing two “Xs”: one on the name of the presidential candidate or on the symbol next to his name, the other on the symbol of the party that supports him. In this way, the vote will be counted. The vote will be counted for the presidential candidate and also for the party. Here too, up to two preferences can be expressed for the candidates, as long as they are a man and a woman.
  • You can vote separately and express up to two preferences for candidates on the list, a man and a woman, by placing two “Xs”: one on the name of the presidential candidate or on the symbol next to his name, the other on the symbol of a party not connected to his coalition. Split voting allows you to vote for a presidential candidate and for a party that is not part of his coalition.

According to the electoral law, the candidate with the most votes at the polls will be elected president of the Region and his coalition will be awarded a majority prize, guaranteeing 55% of the seats in the regional council. The same percentage can arrive at 64% if the winning candidate obtains 60% of the votes.
