A car accident occurred this afternoon, Tuesday 4 June 2024, on Provincial Road 35 to Charterhouse of Pavia, involving two cars and causing three people to be injured.

The causes of the accident are still being investigated by the Traffic Police, who intervened on site to investigate the case. According to initial information, the two cars would have collided head-on for reasons yet to be clarified.
Three injured
Following the impact, three people were injured and they were rescued by 118 healthcare personnel a 16-year-old, a 33-year-old and a 49-year-old woman. The injured, after receiving initial treatment on site, were then transported to San Matteo di Pavia and Rozzano, where they entered code yellow.
The Pavia Fire Brigade, which intervened on site, took care of make the damaged vehicles and the surrounding area safe.
Queues in place
The accident caused significant traffic disruption, with long queues on site during rescue operations and removal of damaged vehicles. The Traffic Police is conducting investigations to establish the dynamics of the accident and any responsibilities.
