The 7th edition of the “PretenDiamo Legalità” project-competition for the 2023/2024 school year has come to an end, which saw the participation of schools from across the Cosenza hinterland. This project is aimed at legality education and is intended for primary school and lower and upper secondary school students. As part of this Project, the Cosenza Police Headquarters, directed by the Police Commissioner dr. Giuseppe Cannizzaro, intended to organize a series of meetings with the students in the presence of a team made up of staff from the Flying Squad, the Anti-Crime Police Division, the Scientific Police, the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office.
The Project was also characterized by works by the aforementioned students who were subjected to scrutiny by an examining commission which highlighted the deserving classes:
for the primary school category, the Rende-Commenda comprehensive institute “Stancati” complex, classes IV E and class IV G and the comprehensive institute of San Marco Argentano, classes VA and VB (ex aequo);
for the lower secondary school category: Comprehensive Institute of Rende-Commenda Zumpano complex class II A (Graphic Novel Category); Fausto Gullo comprehensive school in Cosenza class III D (video category); Blessed Francesco Maria Greco Comprehensive Institute of Acri class IA (Spot Category);
For the 2nd grade high school category: Istituto Valentini-Majorana di Castrolibero classes IV AT and III B LSA (Video category); “Fermi” State Scientific High School of Cosenza class IV B (spot category);
The Police Commissioner of the Province of Cosenza thanked the participants for their efforts, complimenting the qualifying work carried out by the aforementioned school groups.
